BARCS is holding a free adoption event to help the overpopulation

DAY FOR EXECUTION OF THESE ORDERS. JENNIFER: AND A GOOD DAY TO WALK THE DOG. THIS IS MURPHY. HE IS THE CUTEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. WE ARE GOING DOWN WITH HIM TO MAKE IT MORE COMFORTABLE. BAILEY IS ONE OF THE DOGS WE DESPERATELY WANT TO GET OUT OF THE SHELTER. BAILEY: YEAH AND HE’S A GREAT DOC FOR ADOPTION BECAUSE HE’S ALREADY neutered. HE IS VACCINATED. HE LIKES CHILDREN. HE LIKES OTHER DOGS. JENNIFER: WHAT ABOUT CATS? BAILEY: HE LIKES CATS. HE IS CRATE TRAINED. JENNIFER: AND OTHER TRAINED. COULD I BE SICK? GIVE ME A PAW? OK. AND HE’S SMART. BAILEY: HE IS DOS I’LL AND A GREAT DOG. HE IS IN RECEPTION NOW BECAUSE WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF SPACE. ONE OF OUR AWESOME VOLUNTEERS TOOK HIM HOME. THAT’S HOW WE LEARNED MORE ABOUT HIM, HOW EDUCATED HE IS. JENNIFER: THIS IS A SITUATION YOU DON’T WANT TO BE IN. WANT TO CLEAN THE SHELTER BECAUSE YOU SOMETIMES ACCEPT 200 DOGS A MONTH? BAILEY: THAT WAS JUST IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THIS MONTH. IT IS USUALLY NOT AS ADVANCED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT HAVE PLACE HERE IN JANUARY AND WE ARE CALLING THE COMMUNITY TO HELP US. WE HAD A FULL WEEK OF ADOPTIONS. I TOLD YOU IF WE DON’T CONTINUE WITH THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND TODAY AND TOMORROW WE WILL BE IN THE SAME SITUATION. WE HOPE PEOPLE WILL ADOPT FROM US. JENNIFER: AND TO INCENTIVE PEOPLE YOU WAIVE ALL ADOPTION FEES? BAILEY: FOR ALL AGES, DOGS AND CATS. WE THOUGHT WHY NOT TAKE THE CATS OUT TOO? BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT TO RUN THE CAT PLACE NEXT WEEK. JENNIFER: NOT AT ALL. THEY LITERALLY HAVE EVERY BREED. WE’VE SEEN BREANA ROSS’S STORY FROM THIS WEEK. YOU HAVE SMALL DOGS, BIG DOGS, SHEPHERD MIXES, EVERYTHING. BAILEY: GUN DOGS — YOUNG DOGS, OLD DOGS, ATHLETIC DOGS. MURPHY IS IN BETWEEN. POTATO BUT GOOD ON WALKS. JENNIFER: HE’S REALLY IN THE PIC TOO. HE’S SOME OF THE PERFECT SIZE. SOCKS. JENNIFER: HIS FEET ARE SO CUTE. DID WE MENTION CATS. I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE. THIS IS THE CAT THAT WAS POSTED ABOUT. A TRULY HEARTWEARING STORY. SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED TO HIM AND HE WAS BROUGHT TO YOUR SHELTER AND YOU MANAGED TO PERFORM SOME LIFE SAVING SURGERY ON HIM. BAILEY: YEAH, HE WAS A VICTIM OF SOMETHING HORRIBLE THAT HAPPENED AND HERE’S THE GREAT NEWS. HIS LEG HAD TO BE AMPUTATED AND IS IN A FOSTER HOME. HERE HE IS HE IS A CUTE BOY AND HE IS DOING GREAT. NOT A GREAT START TO LIFE THAT HE’S GOING TO HAVE A WONDERFUL LIFE FROM IT OR — FROM HERE ON. JENNIFER: EVERY STORY IS SUPER HARD, BUT SOMETIMES HE WAS IN THE HANDS OF SOME CRUELTY, BUT SOMETIMES HE BECAME SO LOVING TO YOU GUYS. JENNIFER: — BAILEY: IT’S AMAZING. THE PETS WE WATCH IN OUR HOMES ARE AMAZING CREATURES. YOU’RE RIGHT. WE ARE SEEING SOME SHOCKING THINGS. WE SEE THAT IT’S NOT DONE – WE SEE PEOPLE NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING. WHAT WE SEE ANIMALS WILLING TO TRUST NEW PEOPLE TO DO THE RIGHT THING. JENNIFER: THESE PEOPLE BELIEVE SOMEONE IS GOING TO ADOPT THEM. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MURPHY OR ANY OF THE ANIMALS, CALL THEM.
